“My machine already has an inline filter, so why is my oil still contaminated?”

There are 2 major reasons why Triple R Bypass Oil Cleaners are so much more efficient and effective than inline filters:

1. Triple R Filters are always installed in a “bypass” loop on the machine. Meaning that Triple R Filters never have to suffer from high flow rates, flow pulsations and pressure peaks and pulsations.
2. A Triple R Filter Element can always perform under perfect physical conditions:
a. Reduced Flow
b. Minimal Pressure
c. No Stress by Flow and Pressure Pulsations.

Triple R Bypass Filters are based on the AXIAL flow principle where the oil has to pass a filter mass of 114mm! That’s very different from the 1-2mm thickness of conventional inline filters. That’s more than 50x thinner than a Triple R Filter Element!

Now imagine that such a thin filter has to deal with high flow, high pressure, continuous flow and pressure pulsations… It’s very obvious that in such circumstances most particles are just flushed through the filter. That is why inline filters can never reach the promised and stated micron ratings that Triple R Bypass Filters can.

Be aware that micron ratings are meant to compare different brands, but a micron rating does not give any guarantee for achieving a certain NAS or ISO cleanliness of the oil. Triple R Bypass Oil Cleaners remove particles down to 2 micron, but also remove water and oxidation residues.

Triple R Unique Filter Element Design 


Made from a special cellulose material 1 wound onto central core 2 it combines micro and depth filtration by using the axial filtration principle (flow direction from the top 3 to the bottom 4). 

A card sleeve compresses the lower part to increase the density. A non-woven cloth 6 protects the base and stops particle and media migration. All elements are fitted with two lifting strips 7 for easy removal.
